With a dozen children expected at my home, I prepared for several crafts, games, food and FUN!!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.dltk-kids.com/pokemon/pokemon.html">CLICK HERE</a> for many of the craft ideas I used! I created a Pokemon Art Gallery on the living room wall with everyone's creations.<br /><br />I think the children most enjoyed putting <a href="http://www.dltk-kids.com/pokemon/tproll.htm">THESE</a> paper roll Pokemon characters together!<br /><br />Later it was time for games! I used the "Pin the Tail on the Charmander idea and others found on this <a href="http://crafts.kaboose.com/pokeman/">website</a>.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/SBMpGXd6HOI/AAAAAAAAACw/GlfNCFyw8W0/s1600-h/IMG_2043.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/SBMpGXd6HOI/AAAAAAAAACw/GlfNCFyw8W0/s320/IMG_2043.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193539984643726562" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br />I also used the Internet to grab great ideas for invitations, food, loot bags and even a pattern for Pokemon BINGO!! Everyone had a great time!<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/SBMplHd6HPI/AAAAAAAAAC4/Hp2bVrURAj4/s1600-h/IMG_2046.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/SBMplHd6HPI/AAAAAAAAAC4/Hp2bVrURAj4/s320/IMG_2046.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193540512924703986" border="0" /></a>All the DAZEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17996017855289121375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6979681861803378516.post-59314286831510476912008-03-15T05:01:00.000-07:002008-03-15T05:07:32.837-07:00Celebrate Spring today!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/R9u7PMSJ5hI/AAAAAAAAACg/A_4sD6Z78-s/s1600-h/bake5.gif"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 120px; height: 113px;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/R9u7PMSJ5hI/AAAAAAAAACg/A_4sD6Z78-s/s320/bake5.gif" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177938066262320658" border="0" /></a><br /><h2 style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="color: rgb(204, 51, 204);">Edible Bird's Nest</span> </span></h2> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight: bold;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:130%;" ><span> <o:p></o:p></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight: bold;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span><span style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></span></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight: bold;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span><span style="font-weight: normal;">Materials: Chow mien noodles</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, chocolate chips or brick chocolate</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, Jelly beans</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, candy coated chocolate eggs</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, marshmallow chicks</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, peanut butter</span><o:p style="font-weight: normal;"></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, wax paper</span><o:p></o:p><span style="font-weight: normal;">, paper plates (colored plates optional)</span><span style=""> </span><o:p></o:p></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-weight: bold;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span> <o:p></o:p></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span><br /></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span><br /></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=";font-family:Verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span>Directions: Place squares of wax paper onto to individual plates. After 2 hours, we had developed over 101 ideas to celebrate Spring, and then returned outside to blowing snow :) <br /><br />Thank you to all those who attended. Keep your spirits focused on the "green" DAZE to come. Send me your successful ideas and the pictures of how you implemented the workshop's ideas. I would love to hear more of your songs, stories and poems. <br /><br />I have circled the dates for your Conference in 2009, and look forward to seeing you all again!All the DAZEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17996017855289121375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6979681861803378516.post-39194657127436292712008-02-23T06:19:00.001-08:002008-03-27T14:45:22.195-07:00FREE with Purchase<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/R8AsTiFr61I/AAAAAAAAACE/-sAXPFxYoqc/s1600-h/springdazebooksmall.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_wn6mwuECHrA/R8AsTiFr61I/AAAAAAAAACE/-sAXPFxYoqc/s320/springdazebooksmall.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5170181086301121362" border="0" /></a><span style="font-size:130%;"><br /></span><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:arial;font-size:130%;" >Spring DAZE Offer</span><span style="font-size:130%;"> </span><span style="font-family:arial;"><br /><br />Purchase my latest activity book, Spring DAZE and receive my NEW Spring Greeting Cards! </span> <span style="font-family:arial;"><br /><br />I am off to the post office almost daily sending copies of Spring DAZE across North America.
